In the process, both of them heal each other, become unlikely friends, and ultimately find joy in life. Not everyone who sees it will feel this way. Both men laugh and cry and change in subtle ways that make this not a maudlin exercise in death denial but rather a celebration of love through friendship, regardless of the grim future. One will enjoy following both men on their adventures and it hits home when we realize how fast our lifetime goes and how much of it the average person wishes they could do over, just to explore our dreams. I would recommend this film to anyone and everyone - as it was such a feel-good movie that made you both laugh and cry at the same time - something you don't come across too often. You get a dedicated teacher and a bunch of misfit students, you'll get a tear out of me. It's good when people get what they want.
The caustic and bitter billionaire Edward Cole owns many hospitals, has been through his fair share of divorces and has one missing daughter. It did, but they were tiny blemishes in an otherwise solid frame. While sharing a hospital room together, they decide to leave it and do all the things they have ever wanted to do before they die according to their bucket list. The same can be said for Morgan Freeman who continues to play roles that accentuate his knack for worldly, wise and good-natured characters that can make us laugh and cry from moment to moment. Corporate billionaire Edward Cole and working class mechanic Carter Chambers are worlds apart. Chambers decides to make a bucket list, and Cole decides to jump in on helping to make the list.
As their list of goals begins to come to an end, they realize how much they've truly lived just in the last few months alone, and how much their short friendship has impacted their lives. Corporate billionaire Edward Cole and working class mechanic Carter Chambers have nothing in common except for their terminal illnesses. I know that, but Nicholson is so damned brilliant as is Freeman. At a crossroads in their lives, they share a hospital room and discover they have two things in common: a desire to spend the time they have left doing everything they ever wanted to do and an unrealized need to come to terms with who they are. The Bucket List 2007 Full Movie with subtitles. I would recommend it to young and old.
The Bucket List does almost all of that. If you know someone with a temrinal illness, have days where you feel down, or simply need a pick-me-up, this is a must see. Wonderfully sarcastic dialogue, poignant exchanges between excellently crafted characters, and an overall beautiful tale of mortality and morality, The Bucket List is an excellent opportunity for two of the greatest actors of our time to show off their inimitable techniques. I, like you probably, love the movies. Sometimes movies inspire, sometimes movies evoke emotions.
It is a moving and inspiring film for all generations. This movie makes one think about life and what should be done to make improvements and live a fuller life before it's too late. I'd write more but I don't wish to be the one to spoil it if you haven't seen it yet. You know when they have forms that ask you what your favorite movie is? And therein lies the skill of director Rob Reiner, who makes sure Jack doesn't kill the lines with bluster and Morgan doesn't drown them in vocal sweetness. I'd be surprised if this movie isn't up for some Oscar or another come next year.
This is going to be up there with the best at the Oscars in 2008. While sharing a hospital room together, they decide to leave it and do all the things they have ever wanted to do before they die according to their bucket list. For the record I laughed a fair amount as well. Edward Cole finally finds the joy in his life, as Carter Chambers changes a stranger's life forever. It's not a fast paced action movie, so I wasn't on the edge of my seat like Avatar, Saving Private Ryan, The Patriot, or Gladiator, but this is an incredible story. It is both funny and very touching and for me at least, a reminder to live life more fully, taking it simultaneously more sincerely, but not so seriously.
Everything comes to an end when Chambers finds out that Cole has a daughter that he has been disconnected with for a long time. The quiet mechanic, Carter Chambers, has been married for forty-five years to his beloved wife Virginia and has three children. There is just so much to say about this film, that it would take too long to say it. It is a joy to watch their characters for a little over 90 minutes, and the message, well, I hope it hits you as it did me. The men find they have two things in common: a need to come to terms with who they are and what they have done with their lives, and a desire to complete a list of things they want to see and do before they die. You throw some adversity at an athlete or a team that overcomes it you'll probably see a tear as well, but this film just struck a chord.
The end of the movie shows that both of the men, after passing away, finished the bucket list and got buried together. I saw the movie at its first ever screening in Pasadena and it was just wonderful. The men find they have two things in common: a need to come to terms with who they are and what they have done with their lives, and a desire to complete a list of things they want to see and do before they die. But, it's even better when they become who they want. Of the two sons, one is a lawyer and the other an engineer; the daughter is a violinist. The Bucket List is not half as sappy as I sound so far; it is a sober rendering of life's lessons at the end by two different men who find their common humanity. Thanks for opening up some feelings that I have spent years learning to hide.
Regardless of his role, he's still Jack, and he doesn't disappoint. That's actually what this story is about. Sometimes they put you on the edge of your seat or make you laugh and simply make you feel good. If you have any legal issues please contact the appropriate media file owners or host sites. When a twist of fate lands him in his own hospital, he's stuck sharing a room with Carter Chambers Morgan Freeman.
